At Papillon House Bookkeeping we use Financial Management to promote Financial Literacy. What does this actually mean? We want every business owner to understand what their numbers mean. We want you to know what the P/L is telling you so that you can make decisions necessary to achieve more profits. We understand that means more than just a +/- at the bottom of the report and we want you to as well.

The Obvious Stuff- Starting at $650/month

This is not your typical “cookie cutter” accounting where everything is labeled “office expense.” We’re talking detailed categorizations based off your business so that when you get those reports you know exactly where every penny is because the dollars are in the details.

  • Detailed Categorizations of all transactions in all accounts.
  • Vital Reconciliation of all accounts- every month- so nothing is unaccounted for
  • Growth Producing Monthly Financial Statements Consisting of a Profit and Loss and a Balance Sheet

These reports simplify and organize the transactions to help you understand your business, and empower you to make faster decisions for the future with confidence. These statements are often required when it comes to tax planning and mid-year loans.

 

The Essentials Bookkeeping package is exactly how it sounds- it’s the base foundation, or “Essentials” to running a business that has the finances managed.

We anticipate however, that our clients will need more so we customize services to meet their needs. Some of the most common ways is through custom reporting or Accounts Payable entry.  Other examples are below-

The Less Obvious Stuff- Additional Services:

  • QuickBooks Set-up & Chart of Accounts build out
  • Detailed financials showing class tracking or job profitability
  • Invoicing
  • Bill Payment Services
  • Payroll Management
  • Custom Reporting to include: Statement of Cash Flows, Unpaid Bills Etc etc.

Just tell us what it is you need, and we will work to accommodate you. If you require additional services beyond the Essentials, we encourage you to schedule a strategy session with Morgan so you can go over your needs together.

Since we will need access to your online business banking, credit cards, loan accounts, and third party e-commerce payment systems, (as is the industry standard practice), we will be reaching out to you for a meeting to begin that on-boarding process.

For peace of mind, most institutions allow for “read only” status to be given upon your permission. We prefer at least this level of access as it this allows for optimal efficiency for us to be able to perform the tasks you are hiring us to do!

We will formalize the relationship by sending your our engagement letter, initial invoice, and help resolve any further obstacles.

Yes!

We use QuickBooks Online as our software of choice to handle your bookkeeping needs; this includes Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, or Advanced. Please keep in mind, not all of these software’s offer the same features- and each business has different bookkeeping requirements. Please consult with our firm before selecting a software type if you have any questions. If you do not currently use QuickBooks Online we can help you obtain a subscription. When allowing us to help you sign up, we can get you 30% OFF your subscription for 12 months! Contact us to see how! ** At this time we do Not support  QuickBooks Self Employed (upgrade required)

Unfortunately, we do not have the capability to support QuickBooks Desktop. However, should you be willing to convert to QuickBooks Online there are some benefits. QuickBooks will offer you a 50% discount for the first year of service for any plan you wish to convert to. And, in most cases, if you have purchased QuickBooks Desktop within the current calendar year, they will refund your purchase
At Papillon House we are here for you! You will not have to wait to get a response for an email or have to “get on a calendar” just to ask a question! Our best methods of communication are email or text. Text’s are usually answered within the hour and emails are typically by the end of the day.
