Sometimes we all fall behind. Life gets in the way, or your business grows and you get pulled in 10 different directions. The books suffer, and before you know it, they are a mess and tax season is right around the corner. Don’t worry, we can help!

Cleaning up the books is a meticulous process that requires hours of dedication. We start with reports- look for any account that doesn’t belong or seems “out of whack.” And then we dive in, reorganizing transactions and moving accounts around until everything is as it should be, all banks and credit cards are reconciled, and all assets and liabilities are accounted for.

We’re extra diligent with your Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) records. We make sure that all of your customers’ balances match and all your vendor bills are true to what you have in the office or on your spreadsheets.

Once this process is complete, typically taking 10-15 hours for every month that we need to clean up, we hand you detailed reports to look over and check for any irregularities. We insist on your involvement to review these detailed reports to make sure everything is as you want it and makes sense to you. We want you to feel confident and knowledgeable in the state of your books and your company. So we ask for your input and collaborate on any changes that need to be made.

Finally, we will arrange a meeting to talk about goals and outline a process to help you achieve them!
